Ingredients

  • 1 can (19 oz) Progresso™ lentils, strained
  • 1/4 cup onions, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

    Put all of the ingredients in a food processer. Pulse until you get an evenly mixed consistency.

    Divide the mixture into 10 equal parts. Using your hands, form the mixture into balls. Place on a tray or a large plate and put them in the fridge for 30 minutes.

    Heat enough oil in a pan over medium heat, until it reaches 350° F. Fry the nuggets until they are gold on all sides, which should take 2-3 minutes. Place on a plate with paper towels.

    Serve the nuggets while hot.
