Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1 small green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small red bell pepper, sliced
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 2 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined

Directions

    In a large skillet, heat oil over medium high heat, add onion and bell peppers. Sauté until tender about 3 minutes.

    Add garlic cloves and continue to sauté for 1 additional minute. Add juices, salt, and pepper, and bring to a quick boil. Reduce heat.

    Add shrimp and saute until shrimp is pink and fully cooked, about 4 minutes. Serve warm.
