A simple breakfast to get your week off on the right foot is a mom’s best friend, especially when you can prepare a meal chocked full of goodness for your family in just ten minutes. All you have to do is turn to your pantry to create an easy breakfast the entire family will enjoy. This overnight muesli begins with a base of oatmeal, yogurt, apples and milk. Refrigerate for 8 hours overnight and serve with optional mix-ins.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oatmeal (not the instant variety)
  • 1 cup apple, diced and peeled
  • 1 cup yogurt, plain
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

    Combine all the ingredients in a bowl; mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.

    Spoon into individual bowls, adding more milk if needed. Serve.
