Nicole M. Presley I wouldn't feel complete during the holiday season without a big steaming pot of ponche on the stove. The fruity hot drink is a sign that winter has arrived. The aroma is inviting, dazzling and one that is usually accompanied by a feast! Many people are intimidated by ponche, and think it is reserved for someone else to make, when in reality it is one of the easiest things to create. Some Latino cultures make it different from others, but in the end it all spells out comfort. I decided to use pomegranate in this festive drink to celebrate the season and give it a tart twist.
