This tequila and pomegranate punch is a very popular drink in Jalisco, Mexico. Some people mix it with hibiscus water, and some like to serve it cold with peanuts or nuts. Other people serve with chopped fruit. I like the simple and hot variation. You’ll be amazed to know that my recipe only requires three main ingredients: pomegranate, sugar, and liquor, which in this case will be tequila. You can prepare it and serve it hot or put it in the fridge and serve it with ice the next day. Cheers!

If you want to save some time, buy the pomegranate seeds. You can usually find them in small packs at the supermarket. Look for them in the refrigerators or in the juice and organic drinks areas.
