Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 crust from 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count), softened as directed on box
  • 3/4 teaspoon sugar

Filling

  • 2 1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberry pie glaze
  • 6 tablespoons hot fudge topping, heated
  • 1/3 cup frozen (thawed) whipped topping

Directions

  •
    1
Heat oven to 450°F. Spray back of 12-cup regular-size muffin pan with cooking spray. Unroll pie crust on work surface. Sprinkle crust with sugar; press in lightly.
  •
    2
Cut 6 rounds from crust with 4-inch round cookie cutter, or trace 6 rounds with top of large drinking glass and cut out with sharp knife (if necessary, piece pie crust scraps together for sixth round).
  •
    3
Fit rounds, sugared side up, alternately over backs of muffin cups. Pinch 5 equally spaced pleats around side of each cup. Prick each generously with fork.
  •
    4
Bake 5 to 7 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes. Carefully remove tart shells from muffin cups. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  •
    5
Meanwhile, in large bowl, gently mix strawberries and pie glaze. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, about 30 minutes.
  •
    6
Just before serving, spoon 1 tablespoon warm fudge topping into each tart shell. Spoon about 1/3 cup berry mixture over topping in each; top with whipped topping.

Expert Tips

  • tip 1
It's best to use strawberries soon after you purchase them. To store for a day or two, arrange unwashed berries in a single layer in a pan lined with paper towels. Cover the berries with paper towels and refrigerate; wash just before use.
