Ingredients

  • 2 marshmallow rice cereal snack bars (2.5” x 1.5” x 0.75”)
  • 3 bags Fruit by the Foot™ Flavor Mixers
  • 4 tablespoons white frosting

Directions

  •
    1
Cut the rice cereal bars in half lengthwise twice so that there are a total of 8 cereal rectangles.
  •
    2
Spread white frosting across the top of each cereal bar.
  •
    3
Open and unwrap 1 blue and 1 red Fruit by the Foot™ snack. Cut the blue Fruit by the Foot™ in half lengthwise so that 1 of the strips is thinner than the other.
  •
    4
Place 1 blue strip along the top, the other along the bottom of the rectangle cereal bar forming the top and bottom of Costa Rica’s flag. Run the strips over the sides as well so they wrap around the cereal bar.
  •
    5
Set a red Fruit by the Foot™ in the middle of the rectangle cereal bar, wrapping the red strip around the cereal bar.

Expert Tips

  • tip 1
Add more white frosting as the background of the flag, since it will also help keep the Fruit by the Foot™ strips in place.
