Chicken Tortellini Soup

Ingredients

  • 10 cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from three 32-oz cartons)
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups cubed, cooked chicken
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup dry vermouth or water
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano leaves
  • 1 pkg (7 oz) cheese tortellini
  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen broccoli cuts, thawed
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, if desired

Directions

    In large saucepot or Dutch oven, combine chicken broth, soup, chicken, onions, carrots, vermouth, garlic, basil and oregano. Bring to a boil; add tortellini. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes or until tortellini is tender.

    Stir in broccoli. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes longer or until broccoli is tender. Serve with cheese.
