Sometimes I’m just in the mood for a colorful and stylish drink. This one is a perfect blue and it’s great if you are having a gathering or party, its rich color and flavorful will leave every one asking for more... and you will find yourself running to the market to get more berries. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 4 tablespoons blue curacao
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh blueberries
  • Ice, to taste
  • Blueberries, for garnish

Directions

    Rinse, half and place the blueberries in a cocktail shaker. Give them a quick muddle.

    Add the remaining ingredients to the shaker, including the ice.

    Shake vigorously (you need the blueberries to release their color and taste) for about 2 minutes.

    Strain the liquid into a martini glass.

    Garnish with 3 blueberries on a cocktail stick.

    If the end product is too strong in alcohol for your taste, you can make this drink lighter by adding a splash of club soda or lime soda.
