It seems like agave nectar is more widely embraced these days. In fact, it's used in everything from beverages to deliciosos desserts, such as this one made with cereal and dry fruits. Preparing these cookies is easy, so simple that I recommend preparing them with your kids, while spoiling them with this sweet goodie.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Total™ Whole Grain cereal
  • 3/4 cup butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons raisins or dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 3 eggs

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350°F.

    Mix the cereal with the butter (at room temperature).

    Add the flour and knead until obtaining a compact texture.

    Incorporate the raisins or cranberries, along with the agave nectar. Continue kneading as you add the 3 eggs.

    Once a firm dough has been formed, roll into small balls (as big or small as you prefer) and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.

    Bake the cookies for approximately 20 minutes.
