Long gone are the days of running to the store because you ran out of bread. Use frozen waffles for a quick and fun lunch your kids will love. These “wafflewiches” will become one of your most requested lunches!

Ingredients

  • 2 whole-wheat waffles, lightly toasted
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons whipped cream cheese
  • 2 or 3 fresh strawberries, washed and sliced

Directions

    Lightly toast whole-wheat waffles.

    Spread whipped cream cheese on both waffles. Layer strawberry slices evenly on bottom waffle and top with another waffle.

    You can also use blueberries instead of strawberries.
