They say you shouldn’t have this drink before dinner because it might ruin your appetite, but they’re so good that enjoying one from time to time is completely understandable! This cocktail is a different take on the classic Brandy Alexander and I must confess, I find it’s creamy texture and unforgettable taste irresistible. The original drink is made with brandy, but in this recipe I am using Pisco because, after all, Pisco is a grape brandy. The drink always comes out fantastic, especially when I use Quebranta Pisco, since it is not strong in taste and won’t ruin the cocktail. This recipe is so simple to prepare and allows for so many variants that I’ve added it to my collection of chocolate drinks. I could even add it to my white chocolate list. Pretty fancy, right? To save yourself a little time you can use a blender and you’ll have it ready to serve in just a few minutes. It’ll also come out more like a frappe, perfect for those hot summer days. But if you happen to have a basic cocktail shaker, it’s the only tool you’ll need to have this drink ready in just a few minutes. Valentine’s Day is almost here and I suggest you add this recipe to your chocolate drink list. It’s a delicious way to start your celebrations. Cheers!

Expert Tips

  • tip 1

The pisco is that star of this cocktail, but you can also use vodka, cognac or gin, though it’s taste will be completely different.
