Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 6 cups warm water
  • 1/2 cup regular grind coffee
  • 1 tablespoon camomile tea
  • 1/2 ounce unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

    In 3-quart saucepan, heat brown sugar over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is melted. Remove from heat; gradually stir in water. (If sugar should harden, it will dissolve during cooking.) Stir in coffee, tea, chocolate, cloves and cinnamon. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes.

    Stir in vanilla; strain coffee through 2 thicknesses of cheesecloth. Serve immediately.
