Here’s a tropical spin on the classic and famous Tequila Sunrise with mango juice instead of orange juice. The red of the grenadine syrup blends with the orange mango to mimic a sunset right in your glass. It’s the perfect cocktail to enjoy the sunset after a busy day.

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon, cut in half
  • Table salt (ground)
  • 1 oz white or reposado tequila
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup mango juice
  • 1 oz grenadine syrup

Directions

    Moisten the rim of a glass with a lemon wedge; then dip in salt.

    Fill the glass with ice. Pour the tequila, lemon juice and mango juice. Mix with a spoon or straw until well blended.

    Pour the grenadine syrup and let it settle at the bottom of the glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge and enjoy. Salud!

    If you don’t have grenadine syrup, replace it with Maraschino cherry syrup.
