With summer approaching, we started improving on our eating habits to get us ready for beach season. We've added more fruits and veggies to our meals and started a daily exercise regimen. I walk my son to school everyday and start my mornings off with a fruit and veggie smoothie. One of my favorites is this mango spinach smoothie in order get a serving of fruits and vegetables first thing in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1 cup mango, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup baby spinach
  • 1/4 cup whole oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ice

Directions

    Place all the ingredients in a blender. Mix until smooth and enjoy!

    You can also use precut frozen mango instead of adding ice.
