Now that my son is home for summer vacation, I need to find creative ways to prepare snacks that are guilt-free and better for him. Kale chips are very popular now and you'd be surprised how easy they are to prepare. They are the perfect snack because they are crispy and seasoned just right with a sprinkle of sea salt.

Ingredients

  • 1 head kale, rinsed, torn in pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Sea salt

Directions

    Preheat oven to 275° F.

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Arrange kale pieces one-inch apart and lightly brush with olive oil.

    Sprinkle with sea salt and bake for 12 minutes or until crisp.
