Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cardamom seeds
  • 1 can (12 ozs) evaporated milk
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

    Combine all of the ingredients in a pot and place over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook until the mixture begins to boil and to thicken.

    Turn off the heat and remove the cardamom seeds and cinnamon sticks. Store in a glass container and refrigerate for two hours or until well chilled. Serve this creamy topping over your favorite fruits.
