In Colombia, sweet arepas are usually prepared with sugar and aniseed, and later fried in oil. Today I have a different, sweet arepa recipe made with cocoa powder. They’re delicious served as an appetizer or for dessert. I prepared small ones because I like to portion out my sweets, but you can make these arepas as big or small as you’d like!
