The turkey is definitely the star during Thanksgiving dinner, especially when served with different side dishes. You might not believe it, but the preparation of the turkey is the least stressful part of the whole dinner. Most people say that the appetizers and the sauce for the turkey are the most difficult pieces to plan. It doesn't have to be that way if we use the products that help us simplify our time in the kitchen. However, there's nothing better than homemade dishes for Thanksgiving; they do always taste just a little bit better. Today I want to share a recipe with you that will give your Thanksgiving dinner a Latin touch everyone will enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 can of chipotle sauce
  • 1 cube of chicken stock
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • Dash of onion powder
  • Dash of garlic salt

Directions

    Add the milk, water, sauce and chicken stock to a blender and combine.

    Pour the mixture into a small pot and heat until it thickens; move constantly to prevent it from sticking. Season.

    Add the cranberries and stir. Let cook over low heat for about 5 minutes.

    You can keep the sauce in a jar and refrigerate for later use. Heat before serving.
