Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts or 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 large potato, peeled and cubed
  • 1/3 cup peas
  • 2 tablespoons Marsala wine
  • 1 crust from 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count)

Directions

  •
    1
    Preheat oven to 350° F.
  •
    2
Sauté the chicken with the chopped garlic, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Once it is nicely browned, remove from the pan. Cut into pieces and set aside.
  •
    3
In the same pan, melt the butter. Add the flour and stir constantly until it forms a sauce.
  •
    4
Add the chicken broth little by little, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
  •
    5
Add the carrot, potato cubes and the peas.
  •
    6
Cook over low heat for about 10 minutes. Then add the chopped chicken to the sauce.
  •
    7
Add the Marsala wine and taste. Add more salt and pepper if necessary.
  •
    8
Pour the mixture into small molds or an oven-proof dish.
  •
    9
Roll the pie crust dough with a rolling pin and cover each pie.
  •
    10
With a little bit of oil, brush the pie crust with a kitchen brush. With a fork, lightly perforate the surface.
  •
    11
Bake for about 15 minutes and serve hot.
