Banana Split with Grilled Fruit

I like to make this banana split at home because it’s easy, it’s tasty and looks very yummy. Plus, the grilled fruit adds a very special touch!

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas
  • 1 cup of strawberries, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup of vanilla yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of strawberry ice cream
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts, chopped
  • Syrup or chocolate syrup, to taste
  • Lemon juice

Directions

    Preheat the grill to a low temperature.

    Cut each banana in half lengthwise. Cook half the bananas and the strawberries in aluminum foil carefully on the grill, turning them frequently. Sprinkle lemon juice over the strawberries and stir them. Cook 5 to 7 minutes.

    Remove fruit from grill and serve individual portions of following: in the base yogurt, banana halves, and strawberries in the middle, between the two halves of banana. Then, stir in a spoonful of strawberry ice cream in the middle on the strawberries.

    Sprinkle with ground nuts and chocolate syrup.

    You can replace the chocolate syrup for caramel syrup and the strawberry ice cream for vanilla ice cream.
